A New Center for Technology and Manufacturing
The Vision Behind a New Hub for Global Technology and Production

ABOUT Silicon Border
Silicon Border: A Master Planned Environment for Advanced Manufacturing
Our Mission and Vision
Silicon Border was established to create a strategically positioned environment where advanced manufacturing and technology companies can scale with confidence. Located on the California–Mexico border, the park offers direct access to United States and Mexico markets, supported by world class infrastructure that includes clean electrical power sourced from multiple grids, a dedicated potable water supply from the Colorado River, a state of the art waste treatment system, and high capacity industrial utilities designed for mission critical operations.
As a master planned science and technology park, Silicon Border is engineered to support the demands of large scale production, high precision manufacturing, and research intensive industries. Companies benefit from shovel ready land, robust connectivity, streamlined permitting, and access to manufacturing incentives offered through Mexico’s globally competitive IMMEX and free trade programs. The region’s strong academic ecosystem, home to more than 60,000 engineering and technical students and supported by universities that contribute to Mexico’s nationwide pool of over 100,000 engineering graduates each year, provides a skilled workforce unmatched in the border region.
Our vision is to enable global companies to operate more efficiently and competitively by providing a reliable, secure, and future ready industrial environment. With immediate proximity to major transportation corridors that reach the entire southwestern United States within hours, Silicon Border is positioned as a cornerstone for the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace innovation, renewable energy production, clean technology development, and safety focused emerging technologies.
