Mr. Hill has been an executive at several international electronics companies around the world including Cerprobe as COO, PricewaterhouseCoopers as Director of Semiconductor Business Development, InterConnect (now XFAB) as founder and CEO, Micro Component Technology as CEO, and National Semiconductor (now Texas Instruments) as Senior Vice President, Division General Manager. He has lived in Asia for eight years as part of these responsibilities, and has led efforts in a public offering and sales of divisions and entire companies. He holds a BSIE from New Mexico State University.
Mr. Garza has 15 years experience in marketing, sales and high volume manufacturing. He was previously Deputy Director of Sony Electronics in North America, with over $2 billion in annual sales. Mr. Garza is widely recognized in the Mexican electronics industry, serving as president of electronics and telecommunications industry groups and university curriculum boards. He holds a Biomedical Engineering degree from Iberoamericana University and an MBA from the Peter Drucker School at Claremont Graduate School.
Prior to joining Silicon Border, Mr. Tenney provided financial and management consulting services to high tech, real estate development, production homebuilder and other client companies in Southern California, with an emphasis on assisting publicly traded companies. He was formerly Corporate Controller for Pro Kennex, and at FPA Medical Management. Mr. Tenney also spent nine years in public accounting, including positions with Deloitte & Touche and with Arthur Andersen as audit manager. He is a certified public accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
Ms. Cruz is responsible for all company administrative issues, as well as executing company communications initiatives and marketing efforts. Her previous experience with Mexican Maquiladora companies includes management and human resources operations for Sony Mexico. She holds a BS in Computer Science from UABC and a Masters in Human Resources from Cetys University in Mexicali, Mexico.
Ms. Hernandez specializes in IMMEX requirements for high technology products. She was formerly Director of the Electronics and IT Chamber of Mexico in the Northwestern Region, and she has a deep background negotiating with the Congress and Mexican Government for new laws and deregulations for the high tech industry, and for funding and benefits for new projects. Ms Hernandez has a degree in Logistics, Customs and International Business from Baja California Tec, Tijuana, Mexico.
Mr. Diracles, is an expert in business law including SEC regulation. He focuses on financing, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. His projects include representing both buyers and sellers in corporate acquisitions, corporate and governmental financings--including public stock offerings—and advising outside board members and special committees with regard to SEC enforcement actions. Jim has been named a “Super Lawyer” and a “Top Ten Merger and Acquisition Lawyer” by Minnesota Law & Politics. Jim holds a BA degree from the Colorado College and a law degree from University of Minnesota Law School, JD with honors.
